Kids + Company provides low cost “productivity insurance” by ensuring employees
have flexible, convenient and reliable emergency childcare options right near
the office. At a cost of only $300 a year for up to 20 visits, some employees
will work off the cost during the first day of saved productivity. One recent
study estimates that total work time lost due to work-family conflict costs
Canadian employers over $2 Billion per year.1
At CIBC, John Hunkin said, "if the [back-up] centre had not been available,
two-thirds of registered parents reported they would have missed work. It
definitely is a win-win situation."2
