Victoria Sopik, President

both worlds. Victoria Sopik, an entrepreneur and mother of eight
understands the delicate balancing act and is determined to make a difference
by helping working parents and supportive employers.
President and Founder of Kids & Company, Victoria oversees the
company’s strategic direction and provides leadership to the
company’s management team to deliver industry leading child care
services.
Victoria has a long and distinguished career in the childcare industry with
more than 20 years of experience. As an entrepreneur and operator of a highly
successful chain of childcare centres in Toronto, her business has served more
than 1,000 children on an annual basis. Victoria studied business
administration at the University of Western Ontario and is a recognized expert
in the childcare field. She has developed successful long-term partnerships
with both private and public organizations and is active with several
charitable organizations.
Jennifer Nashmi, C.A, Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of varied business
experience ranging from auditing multi-national corporations to being the
Director of Finance of a high-tech public company. As part of her
well-established private accounting practice, Jennifer has been part-time
controller for Sunshine Childcare Centres for the past nine years and has a
thorough knowledge of the childcare industry.
Jennifer is responsible for all financial aspects of Kids & Company.
Sue Purser, B.A. E.C.E., Vice President of Operations
Sue Purser brings over 20 years of industry expertise to her position as Kids
& Company’s VP of Operations. Sue has served as a Child Care
provider, Faculty at a local Community College, Senior Administrator and
Industry Lecturer in the field of Early Childhood Education.
