Welcome to Kids & Company!

I am so pleased that you are considering becoming a part of the Kids & Company family. Every time a new child registers, I feel that I am personally entrusted with your child's care. And for this I am very grateful.

I have eight children of my own! Now they range from 16- 28 years and though I love them dearly, I certainly miss them being babies (they didn't talk back then!).

As an entrepreneur and mother, I know firsthand how challenging it is to balance work and family. And I’ve found that finding the right child care is incredibly important. That’s why at Kids & Company we offer reliable, professional child care that is flexible enough to meet each family’s specific needs. We provide a safe, nurturing and enriched learning environment for your child. And we don't charge late fees!

We give you peace of mind, so you can feel good about going to work every day.
I have written this note to launch my weekly blog, packed with more valuable content for you. Not only will my blog provide you with a quick update as to exciting things that are happening in the Kids & Company world but also some stories from my personal hectic life.

On a corporate note, we have recently opened our Bedford NS, Calgary Royal Oak AB and New Westminster BC locations. We have a few others scheduled within the next few months: Airdrie AB, Langley BC, Langford BC and Kamloops BC. At the end of October we are opening our first US location, in Chicago!

On a more personal note, as a family, we continue to be obsessed with Baby Mac! He turned five months old on September 15th. Very few babies have been welcomed into the world with as many adoring uncles and aunts offering to babysit! Good thing his parents are very good at sharing him.

The university kids are all back to school. Our two daughters are attending grad school at Queen's. Child number six (now 20!) is attending his third year at Dalhousie (he loves Halifax!) and number seven is really enjoying his first year at Western. There are only three of us at the dinner table these days!
